Diverse musical styles

PartyDown cover a variety of musical styles, anything from ‘Fly me to the Moon’ to ‘I predict a Riot’. We play classic dance hits from the 60s through to the present day - ideal dance music for any wedding reception or party. If required we can provide a smaller line-up to play at your reception earlier in the day and augment this for dancing later in the evening.  We can play quiet lounge sounds for drinks and cocktails or during dinner - see the Song List for more details of our repertoire. We can learn a special song for the first dance at your wedding reception.  For larger events we team up with the Northern Soul legends The Flirtations to provide a spectacular soul revue. 

Equipment

We provide all our own lighting and sound equipment. to be played through our sound system. We have compilations of a wide variety of musical styles to suit all tastes to play during breaks. Alternatively, you can provide your own background music via CD, mp3 player or iPod.  Our equipment will be at your disposal for speeches, announcements etc throughout the evening. Performance times

We can provide as much music as you wish.  A typical evening’s entertainment might consist of a 45-minute set of pre-party background or dinner music followed by 2 x 45-minute sets of dance music, with CDs played in any breaks.  See the FAQ for more details.
